Reunited and It Feels So Fun: Unique Themes and Tips for a Memorable Reunion

A reunion party is a special event that brings people together, whether it’s for family, old friends, or classmates. PFEM is a fantastic venue for these types of events! We have 2 spacious halls that can accommodate 40 to 275 guests. Plus, our Volleyball and Bocce Courts are available for rental if you’d like to add some friendly competition to the mix. Here are some more creative ideas to make your reunion memorable:

Themed Reunion

  • Decade Theme: Celebrate the era when the group was originally together (e.g., 80s, 90s).
  • Carnival/County Fair: Set up games like ring toss, face painting, and even a cotton candy station.
  • Around the World: Each section of the party could represent a different country with themed food, music, and décor.
  • Hollywood Red Carpet: Treat your guests like stars with a red carpet, photo booth, and mock awards show.

Interactive Stations

  • Memory Lane Photo Gallery: Set up a wall or path with photos from the past, encouraging guests to share stories.
  • Video Messages Station: Allow people to record short video messages or reflections that can be compiled into a keepsake video.
  • DIY Time Capsule: Have guests bring small items or write notes for a time capsule to be opened at the next reunion.

Games and Icebreakers

  • Trivia: Create trivia questions about the group’s shared history (e.g., old inside jokes, memories, or historical events from when you were together).
  • Scavenger Hunt: Organize a scavenger hunt that includes items related to shared memories or people’s backgrounds.
  • “Who’s Who?” Game: Create a game where people submit little-known facts about themselves, and guests have to guess who the fact belongs to.

Live Entertainment

  • Karaoke or Talent Show: Let guests showcase their hidden talents.
  • Live Band/DJ: Play nostalgic music from the era when the group was originally together.
  • Interactive Storytelling: Have someone host a storytelling session where people share their funniest or most cherished memories from the past.

Memory Keepsakes

  • Custom Photo Booth: Have props and a custom backdrop related to the reunion theme. Send digital or printed copies as souvenirs.
  • Personalized Reunion Favors: Hand out small keepsakes like custom mugs, T-shirts, or photo albums.
  • Memory Board or Scrapbook: Provide materials for guests to add notes, photos, and mementos throughout the event.

Outdoor Fun

  • Barbecue or Picnic: Host an outdoor cookout with lawn games like cornhole, frisbee, and giant Jenga.
  • Bonfire Night: Create a cozy atmosphere with a bonfire, storytelling, and perhaps some s’mores.
  • Outdoor Movie Night: Project a favorite movie or home videos from the past on a large screen outdoors.

Fun Competitions

  • Costume Contest (if themed): Reward the best-dressed guest if you’re having a themed reunion.
  • Cook-off or Bake-off: Organize a friendly competition where people can bring their best dish or dessert.

These ideas can be mixed and matched depending on your group’s interests and the tone you want to set for the reunion. We’d love to help you plan a fun and memorable reunion celebration! Please contact us at 636.875.3215 or catering@pfemevents.com to save your date.
